EMG solicitors visit Durham Stickmakers

EMG Solicitors Limited headed off to meet the Durham Stickmakers on Monday – a group they’ve given crucial help to through their fund with County Durham Community Foundation.

EMG Solicitors support a wide range of community groups and the Durham Stickmakers are a real hidden gem. Many members have been taking part in the heritage craft sessions for more than 10 years and the club is known for its camaraderie and friendship for older men.

As many members are not wealthy, the club stresses the importance of keeping sessions affordable, which it can do thanks to EMG’s support. Showing their appreciation through a unique talent, the club has now carved the EMG team their very own stick!

Needless to say, we love match making businesses that care with community groups that approach common aims, like good mental health, in a host of creative ways.
