Armistead Wind Farm Community Fund

The geographical boundaries for fund eligibility will normally be restricted to the five parishes of Old Hutton, New Hutton, Killington, Preston Patrick and Mansergh. Projects outside of these areas may be eligible if it can be shown that they benefit local people from these five parishes.

The next panel is taking place on Wednesday 10th January and all applications received prior to 20th December will go to this panel.

Heysham South Wind Farm Community Fund

The geographical boundaries for fund eligibility will normally be restricted to the parishes of Heaton-with-Oxcliffe, Heysham, Middleton and Overton. Projects outside of these areas may be eligible for support if it can be shown that they benefit local people from these parishes.

Hook Moor Wind Farm Community Fund

The geographical boundaries for fund eligibility will normally be restricted to the parishes of Aberford and Micklefield. Projects outside of this area may be eligible if it can be shown that they benefit local people from Aberford and Micklefield parishes.

Hazlehead Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund

The geographical boundaries for fund eligibility will normally be restricted to the parish of Dunford.  Projects outside of this area may be eligible if it can be shown that they benefit local people from Dunford Parish.

Lambs Hill Wind Farm Community Fund

The geographical boundaries for fund eligibility will normally be restricted to Stillington & Whitton, Bishopton, Foxton, Great Stainton, Little Stainton, Grindon, and Bishopton Crossings, Thorpe Thewles and Carlton.

Projects outside of these areas may be eligible if it can be shown that they benefit local people from the named areas.

Marr Wind Farm Community Fund

The geographical boundaries for fund eligibility will normally be restricted to the parishes of Barnburgh, Brodsworth, Hickleton, High Melton, Marr, and Sprotbrough & Cusworth. Projects outside of these areas may be eligible if it can be shown that they benefit local people from these parishes. The village of Cadeby is to now be included for a 12-month interim period from 14 October 2021 until 31 October 2022. Projects outside of these areas may be eligible if it can be shown that they benefit local people from these parishes.

Moor House Wind Farm Community Fund

The geographical boundaries for fund eligibility will normally be restricted to the Darlington Borough Council area with priority given to projects located in and benefiting local people in Sadberge, Bishopton, East and Newbiggin, Little Stainton, Great Stainton, Great Burdon, Barmpton, Brafferton and areas of Whinfield, Harrogate Hill, Beaumont Hill and Coatham Mundeville who are on the north of the A1150 and east of the A167. Projects outside of these areas may be eligible if it can be shown that they benefit local people from the named areas above.

As of June 2023, and for a period of one year, the following additional areas are now eligible to apply for funding from the Moor House Wind Farm Fund: Heighington & Coniscliffe, Hurworth, Neasham and Middleton St George

Penny Hill Wind Farm Community Benefits Fund

A fund to be known as the Penny Hill Wind Farm Community Fund has been established to provide financial assistance to community groups, voluntary organisations and the local community in the area of the Penny Hill Wind Farm.  The geographical boundaries for fund eligibility will normally be restricted to the parishes of Aston, Thurcroft, Treeton, Ulley and Whiston.  Projects outside of these areas may be eligible if it can be shown that they benefit local people from these parishes.

Kype Muir Community Fund – South Lanarkshire

The geographical boundaries for fund eligibility are restricted to 10km radius of the wind farm; Strathaven & Glassford; Stonehouse; Lesmahagow; Sandford and Upper Avondale community councils and Blackwood, Kirkmuirhill and Boghead community council area.

Please note, an Expression of Interest form must be submitted before applying to this fund.
