Named fund

The most common method of giving to County Durham Community Foundation is through a Named Fund.

Revenue Fund

Miniumum donation: £10,000. The fund is spent up over an agreed period of time. The Foundation’s fee is generally 10% per annum. Read more about Revenue Funds

Endowment Fund

Minimum donation: £25,000 (though this can be built over a number of years via an Acorn Fund) The capital is invested and part of the income is then distributed for charitable purposes, whilst the other part is retained to allow the fund to grow. The Foundation’s fee is generally 1.25% per annum.
