CDCF Receive M&S Sieff Award

29 June 2012

Chief Executive Barbara Gubbins received a Sieff Award from Marks & Spencer and Business in the Community for benefiting society.

The Marks & Spencer Sieff award celebrates successful community-business collaborations, recognising individuals whose contributions to society - by bringing businesses and communities together - have left a lasting, replicable legacy in the region.

'This award is about celebrating the vital role that dedicated individuals are playing to transform local communities. Our award winners are those truly inspirational leaders who make a difference in the communities they live and work, quietly and often with little recognition. Effective collaboration between business and communities can create long term change in our town and cities - so we applaud all the 2012 Sieff winners for the time and effort they have committed to creating partnerships which make a positive difference in the community.'
