Funding is available to individuals over the age of 18 who have a low household income and are considered to be in fuel poverty. Applications for individuals must be accompanied by a reference from a recognised support agency (e.g., NEA, Age UK, Energy Savings Trust, Social Services). Please read the guidelines attached to the application form to find out if you are eligible to apply.
We will fast track applications in order to support those in need at this time and over the coming cold Winter months.
You may apply for a Surviving Winter Appeal grant even if you have another active grant application with County Durham Community Foundation.
